If you’d like to do something great for London, why not join in this September’s Capital Clean-up?Our last clean-up, held earlier this summer, saw more than 1,700 people take part in almost 150 events, and we are hoping to repeat that success.
The autumn campaign kicked off on 5 September, with a clean-up of Tottenham Marshes. More than 200 volunteers turned up to help out, and over 300 bags of rubbish were collected.
How can you help?
Get involved now by taking part in, or holding, a clean-up event. Register it on our map and event calendar and find information, support and a toolkit to help you with your own clean up. Clean-up events this month include the UN’s Clean Up the World weekend (16-18 September), Keep Britain Tidy’s Love Where You Live week of action (19-25 September), and Sewa Day (25 September).
What are you waiting for? Events are taking place across London: www.london.gov.uk/capitalclean-up.
