We have been contacted by Sarah Dale, who works as a Community Resuscitation Officer for the London Ambulance Service and together with the British Heart Foundation is offering free Basic Life Support courses (HeartStart Courses) to local societies and/or businesses.
We’ve just booked the first session at the Green Man Community Centre, for Wednesday 26th October 2pm to 4pm. There are still some places left so if your interested use the form below to get in contact. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis.
The aim of the course is raise the cardiac arrest survival rate in London and to ensure that everybody has the skills required to save a life!
The courses are nationally recognised. They take two hours to deliver and can be delivered to groups of 8-12 people aged 16 or over.
Are local residents interested in learning how to save a life? We are still loosing hearts that are too good to die. The sad reality is that you would be most likely to need to use these skills on a family member or friend.
Please contact Mark at the Green Man if you are interested or have any questions.
