The Green Man Community Centre on Strawberry Vale, East Finchley re-opened it’s doors yesterday, after a week-long break for the Christmas holidays and New Year’s celebrations.
Mark Healey, the centre’s manager:
“On behalf of everyone at the Green Man Community Centre I’d like to wish all the centre’s users and local residents a very happy new year! I hope everyone had a nice time over the holidays – I had a brief adventure myself travelling to Bansko, Bulgaria for a week’s skiing – luckily I’m back in one piece and looking forward to the year ahead! It should be an exciting year this year with the Olympics and Queen’s Jubilee celebrations to look forward to, and I know that we are looking to organise plenty of activities at the centre. Hope everyone feels welcome to pop in and see what we are doing.”
The centre’s core opening hours are 9am to 5pm, with the Peabody Office open from 10am to 4pm (closed for lunch between 12:30 to 13:30). To find out how to get to us check out our how to get to the centre page.
