a) Complete a booking request form (Booking Application Form PDF) with your basic contact details (name, address, telephone and e-mail) and details of your proposed booking (space you want to hire, date, start time, finish time, nature of the event and how many guests you expect to attend) and return to the centre.
b) Availability will be checked – if unavailable we can look at other times.
c) If available – a member of the committee will contact you to confirm the charges for the booking, and once agreed draft a hire agreement and issue an invoice for the booking.
Please note: Regular bookings need to be submitted and approved by the Green Man Management Committee.
d) The hire agreement will need to be signed, and the deposit paid to confirm the booking.
e) The remaining balance should then be paid at least two weeks before the event takes place.
f) On the day of the event – the event supervisor will complete an inspection of the facilities with you at the start and finish of your booking.
g) Event deposits are usually returned within 28 days after the event as long as the event finishes on time, there are no breakages and the facilities are left clean and tidy.
PLEASE NOTE: All bookings are expected to leave the facilities in a fit state ready for use by the next booking. Surfaces should be wiped, bins emptied, carpets should be hoovered, the main hall and kitchen need to be swept and mopped.
